Tesla CEO and billionaire Elon Musk publicly expressed a hopeful sentiment following the defamation trial between his ex-girlfriend, “Aquaman” actress Amber Heard, and her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp.

Musk made his statement on Twitter after podcast host Lex Fridman tweeted his thoughts about the high-profile case. Replying to the podcast host’s tweet, the SpaceX founder expressed hope that Heard and Depp would “move on.”

The business magnate only had good words for the embattled former couple, saying: “at their best, they are each incredible.” Musk and Heard briefly dated in 2017, after the actress’s one-year marriage to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star.

HOW TO PRONOUNCE ELON MUSK’S BABIES?

Like Heard and Depp’s sensational case, Musk is no stranger to creating drama and intrigue on social media. The 50-year-old businessman made headlines after he and singer Grimes welcomed their first son two years ago.

After announcing the birth of their son on Twitter in 2020, the SpaceX CEO informed a curious fan on social media that they had picked the name X Æ A-12 for the little boy.

Musk’s response puzzled many fans, who questioned his choice for his son’s name. Amid the confusion, Grimes came forward to reveal the reason behind their child’s complex name.

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, explained on Twitter that “X” stands for “the unknown variable while the “Æ” is the Elven spelling of AI, which is shorthand for artificial intelligence.

The Elven spelling also translates to “love” in several languages, including Japanese. Meanwhile, the “A-12” is a precursor to SR-17 based on the pair’s favorite aircraft.

“No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent,” Grimes wrote on Twitter. Meanwhile, the last letter, “A,” stands for Grime’s favorite song, “Archangel.”

After X, as Grimes fondly calls her first son, she and Musk quietly welcomed their second child, a girl, via surrogate in 2021. Like their first child, their daughter also bears a unique name – Exa Dark Sideræl.

According to the eccentric musician, “Exa” comes from the supercomputing term exaFLOPS, which can perform 1 to quintillion floating-point operations per second.

The 34-year-old proud mom said the little girl’s second name, “Dark,” means the unknown, stating that dark matter is “the beautiful mystery” of the universe.

Sideræl, pronounced as “sigh-deer-ee-el,” is an Elven origin, which means the “true time of the universe, star time, deep space-time, not our relative earth time.”

The third name is also a tribute to the musician’s favorite “Lord of the Rings” character, Galadriel. For easy recall, Grimes lovingly nicked named her daughter “Y.”

ARE ELON MUSK AND GRIMES STILL TOGETHER?

Musk and the musician reportedly began dating in May 2018. They made their romance public at the Met Gala around that time, walking the red carpet together at the star-studded event.

In September 2021, the billionaire revealed that he and Grimes had parted ways after three years of being together. Despite the on-and-off romance, Grimes later described her relationship with Musk as “fluid.”

She noted they are best friends living in separate houses. Grimes admitted that their relationship status was something people would not understand right away.
