Authorities said that Orrion and Orson, two boys from California, had been dead for at least three months before their adoptive parents reported them missing in December 2020. However, their bodies haven’t been found yet.
The children were taken in by Trezell Phillip and Jacqueline Gabrielle West in 2018 after a family member was abused. They took them in last year, but now Bakersfield police have arrested them.
According to court documents seen by The Daily Beast, both have been charged with two murders, two planned crimes against children, and making false emergency calls.

The California couple Trezell and Jacqueline West are accused of killing their adopted children, Orrin and Orson.
Kern County District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer told reporters at a press conference that the bodies of Orrin West, age 4, and Orson West, age 3, have not been found.
The boy will live with Trezell West, who is 34, and Jacqueline West, who is 31. In the year 2019, Cincere and Classic were officially taken in by the West family. Their names were changed to Orrin and Orson West.
Also, the couple has two children who were born to them and two more who they adopted. After what happened, the two adopted children are now in foster care.
Trezell and Jacqueline left their home country, California City, and went back to the apartment in Bakersfield’s Lotus Lane where they lived before they moved to California City in September 2020.
But instead of moving into their own apartment, the couple moved in with Jacqueline West’s mother, who lived in the same complex and was thought to have killed those innocent kids.

At the Kern County Sheriff’s Central Reservation Facility, Trezell and Jacqueline West are being held without bail until a hearing on Thursday.
Both are sure that they are not gay. In January 2021, they said in a blog post, “Our top priority is to find out where the boys are and make sure they are safe.” Either way, the truth will come out.
Trezell and Jacqueline West could spend up to 30 years in prison if they are found guilty of the worst crimes. On May 23, their court case will start.
Zimmer says that Trezelle and Jacqueline still don’t have a lawyer on file with the court. Once they do, they will be able to hire an attorney or have one appointed by the court.
Charles Pettus, the boys’ real father, filed a false claim against Child Protective Services, the county, and the state in 2009, saying that they were careless when they took the boys away from their real families.

The boys’ adoptive parents, Classic and Cinsere Pettus, told the police more than a year ago that they were missing from their backyard. Orson was born on November 6, 2017, and is now 3 years old. Orrin was born on April 8, 2016, and is now 4 years old.
The City of California, the community, and the FBI have started a large-scale search for Orrin, 4, and Orson, 3, West. But no one ever found them.
On December 21, 2020, the boys’ parents reported them missing from their home in California City, which is in the Mojave Desert and about 100 miles north of Los Angeles.
During the first week of the investigation, Trezell told local news outlets that his kids were playing outside, he was clearing firewood, and his wife and other children were inside wrapping Christmas presents.
The children were born Classic Pettus and Cincere Pettus. In September 2020, child protective services took them away from their mother and gave them to the West family. They died three months after that.
