Who Is Cody Gifford? Kathie Lee Gifford’s Son Welcomed His First Baby with Wife Erika

Kathie Lee Gifford and her late spouse are both television legends. Their children chose to walk in their footsteps by chasing careers in the entertainment industry. Beyond their legacy in the industry, Kathie’s son is expanding the actual family by welcoming a new Gifford into the world.

Kathie’s son Cody Gifford and his wife, Erika Brown, recently welcomed their baby together. They called their newborn son Frank Michael Gifford in honor of Kathie’s late husband, Frank Gifford.

Kathie took to Instagram to share a picture of a beautiful moment as her daughter-in-law lay in the hospital bed while her son sported a beaming smile.

The comment section was rife with people congratulating the new grandmother on her granddaughter. In the caption, Kathie wrote:

“My heart is bursting. Frank Michael Gifford is here, confirming that our God is good and merciful and faithful. And he loves us!”

In August 2015, Frank Gifford, the man the newborn baby is named after, died of natural causes at 84 years old.

THE STORY OF KATHIE LEE AND FRANK GIFFORD

In the 1980s, Kathie and Franks’s relationship blossomed long before her son Cody was around. This happened after they crossed paths on a morning news show set, only to get married in 1986.

The two exchanged their wedding vows on a beach in Bridgehampton, New York, and soon enough, they had children.

WHO IS KATHIE LEE GIFFORD’S SON?

Cody was born to Frank and Kathie on March 22, 1990. He is highly educated, having graduated from the University of Oxford and Southern California.

Dipping his hands into producing, he has worked with huge brands such as MCM, HBO Films, and much more. He also works as a screenwriter.

But, perhaps his most remarkable achievements were when he welcomed his baby into the world this year and when he married that baby’s mom and actress Brown in 2020.

WHO IS KATHIE LEE GIFFORD’S DAUGHTER?

Kathie doesn’t only have a son but a daughter, Erin Gifford, who is married to Ben Wierda. Like her brother, she also had her wedding in 2020. The siblings grew up together in New York and Connecticut.

Unlike her brother, who focuses on behind the scenes, Kathie chose to work onscreen as an actress. Her most well-known movies include “God’s Not Dead” and “The Gallows.”

She is also a television presenter, vocalist, and songwriter. Beyond this, we are confident that she is ecstatic to say hello to her newborn nephew.

Raising two children is enough, but seven is a challenge that many cannot fathom — except singer-songwriter Bobby Brown.

The music artist had these children with four different women. Three of these kids were conceived with his current wife, Alicia Etheredge.

Tragically, two of his children passed away from drug use. Bobby Brown Jr. died in November 2021. Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina Brown, the child he had with the late Whitney Houston, passed away three years after her mother’s death.
