American actress Hayley Orrantia gained fame for her role as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series “The Goldbergs.” The ABC sitcom gained widespread fame and is currently in its 9th season.

Despite being a famous actress, Orrantia considers herself a musician first. Music has always been her first love. The “God’s Not Dead” star was only 14 when she released her album of cover songs.

Orrantia’s professional music career began in 2010 when she recorded backup vocals for the Disney film “Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.”

She sang backup vocals for Demi Lovato on the soundtrack of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.” Orrantia also provided background vocals for Miley Cyrus in “Hannah Montana Forever.”

The 28-year-old got her first acting experience after being cast in an ad campaign in 2011. She gained more recognition for her role in the film “Cooper and the Castle Hills Gang.”

ORRANTIA’S BOYFRIEND DEFRAUDED HER

Music is not only a talent for Orrantia; it’s a way of expression. The movie star released an EP, “The Way Out,” which details her struggles with the betrayal by her ex-boyfriend, former Marine Brandon Pelletier.

The former couple met in 2015 on the set of “The Goldbergs.” Pelletier was part of a veteran tour group who visited the filming area, and his presence was noticed by Orrantia, who was already captivated by his good looks and charm.

The duo quickly became an item and began a long-distance relationship. Things progressed quickly, and Orrantia confessed that she was already in love with the vet and envisioned a future with him.

However, things turned sour after the “God’s Not Dead” actress realized her lover was defrauding her. A year and a half after their relationship began, Orrantia found out that Pelletier had stolen almost $9,000 through fraudulent bank withdrawals and credit card charges.

Orrantia said her bank informed her of the theft, and after confronting the former marine, he was arrested and released on bond. Pelletier was sentenced to four years of deferred probation. Speaking on why she decided to let her pain out via music, Orrantian told People,

“To be honest, the more I talked about it, the less it became mine. And I was always hoping that there would be somebody that would hear about it and go, ‘Oh, that happened to me.'”

ORRANTIA FINDS LOVE AGAIN

Orrantia moved on from her heartbreak and has been in a long-term relationship with German actor Greg Furman. The actor is known for his roles in “Flight 666” and “The Last Keeper.”

The couple is tight-lipped about their relationship but sometimes displays their affection on social media. The lovebirds reportedly live together in Orrantia’s California home.
