Luckily for anyone concerned about behind-the-scenes drama, Adam Weir’s decision to leave “Renovation Island” had little to do with the dynamic between him and longtime HGTV personality Bryan Baeumler. Far from it, his choice came down to something more on the wholesome side. That is, finding love.
In the Season 3 episode that saw the Bauemlers address Weir’s exit, Bryan embellished on that. “Adam has found himself a nice girlfriend, and he wants to stick it out here in Canada for a little while,” he explained (via Country Living). Sarah Baeumler also hinted that the relationship was pretty serious, pointing out that he had moved into a new “Stage of life.”
It certainly seems that might be the case. After all, Weir hasn’t posted to his Instagram in a while, and the most recent pictures he’s shared are of himself with his girlfriend, Brittany Murphy, and her two daughters at Walt Disney World. Those weren’t the first pictures he’d shared of their little family unit either. Two months ahead of their Disney trip, he’d also shared a sweet message to Instagram in honor of International Women’s Day, describing Murphy and her girls as the “three smart and wonderful ladies in my life.”
