The 74-year-old Bowles certainly took these standards to heart. Prince Charles’s wife decided to wear an outfit that she sported at a horse race at Royal Ascot in 2021. Accompanying the stylish ensemble was a Philip Treacy hat.

WHY DID PRINCE CHARLES NOT MARRY CAMILLA PARKER BOWLES AT FIRST?
Bowles and Charles were initially seeing one another in the early 1970s. Charles was reportedly intrigued by his future wife’s outgoing nature and tomboy personality.
Sadly, in 1973, Charles had to leave for the Royal Navy Service. The two’s relationship came to an end. In that same year, Parker exchanged vows with Andrew Parker Bowles.
Then, in 1981, Charles and Princess Diana had their highly televised wedding. While married, they had two boys together – Prince William and Prince Harry.

While Charles and Dianna were married, the Prince of Wales remained friends with Bowles. But, in 1983, there were allegations that they were having an affair.
After a phone call between Charles and Bowles having an intimate exchange was leaked, it appeared that these rumors were true. After 1993, they both left their spouses.

They eventually got married on April 9, 2005. This ceremony happened after they finally got the Queen’s approval in 2000. Prince William was the best man as Charles and Bowles exchanged vows at Windsor Guildhall.
While Prince Phillip and the Queen were not in attendance, they did show up for the blessings and the reception. Recently, the current monarch stated that Bowles would indeed be the next Queen.

Controversial romances continue to plague the royal family. This time, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been the source of debate since they left the family as senior royals.
The late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was part of this conversation. In the beginning, he supported Harry’s marriage to Markle. But, after Megxit, he was furious.
