A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a crash in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
Police and other emergency services personnel were called to a report of a crash in Coutances Way just before midnight. It happened in the vicinity of the former Kashmiri Aroma restaurant.
West Yorkshire Police has confirmed that a woman was injured and a man arrested.
A force spokesman said: “At 23.59 officers were called to a report of two vehicles in collision on Coutances Way, Ilkley. A woman was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
“A man aged 43 was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision. He remains in police custody at this time.”
