OP’S GRAVE ILLNESS

OP was 18 years old when he fell seriously sick. Doctors revealed the only thing that could save him was for OP to get a liver transplant. Unfortunately, the situation surrounding him getting a liver transplant in time was very bleak, and his health worsened daily.

Luckily for OP, his sister proved to be a match, and donating half of her liver would save his life. As expected, his sister agreed, and two months later, they underwent successful liver transplant surgery.

Afterward, everything looked fine; OP became healthy again and could now live his life. However, years after the liver transplant, OP learned a secret about how his sister donated her liver to save him, leaving him heartbroken.

THE SECRET BEHIND OP’S LIVER TRANSPLANT

Four years after the OP received part of his sister’s liver, he was discussing with his mother when she let slip a vital piece of information.

According to OP’s mom, his sister was pregnant when he needed the liver transplant; however, because she was still in the early stages of pregnancy, OP never noticed.

OP’S SISTER’S MARRIAGE ENDED

After the surgery, the relationship between OP’s sister and her husband deteriorated. The pair even went for counseling to save their marriage, and they tried having another baby, but nothing worked.

Her husband could not bring himself to forgive her because she was not fully apologetic for the step she took in saving OP’s life. As a result, she and her husband separated and eventually divorced a year after the liver transplant surgery.
