Zoe Giordano Harrelson Is Woody Harrelson's Middle Daughter

Although she initially lived away from the spotlight, Woody Harrelson’s daughter, Zoe Giordano Harrelson, has grown to be more explorative of the world around her in recent years. Zoe might just follow in her father, Woody Harrelson’s footsteps, after they appeared together in a short film.

Woody Harrelson made his name known in the entertainment industry as an actor and playwright with several accolades, including two Screen Actor Guild Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award.

However, he is most proud of his achievements as a girl dad to three beautiful daughters, including his middle child, Zoe Giordano Harrelson.

Zoe is her father’s pride and joy, and the actor describes her as a strong, tough girl. He described all his kids as “optimistic and open” and is happy that they are growing up to see the world from a pure perspective. “What they do comes more from the heart than the head,” he said.

While Woody does not shy away from talking about his kids during interviews, he does not speak about Zoe separately and rarely reveals details of her personal life. Still, there are some known details about Zoe shared with the public.

Zoe Was Homeschooled

Born on September 22, 1996, Zoe grew up away from prying eyes. She was homeschooled like her older sister for some time and had less exposure to the public. However, things changed as the years passed.

Eventually, Zoe started having more public appearances until eventually making her acting debut in Irish rock band U2’s 2015 short film, “U2: Song for Someone.” Zoe landed the role of her father’s character’s daughter.

Beyond the screen, Zoe has also had other moments of being in the spotlight. An example is the Tedx Talk she gave at her high school in 2015 about how phones disconnect people from reality.

Zoe Is the Daughter of a Famous Actor

Zoe is Woody’s daughter with his wife, Laura Louie, whom he met on the set of “Cheers” in 1987. At that time, Zoe’s parents were at the onset of a professional relationship, where Louie became the actor’s assistant.

Louie was an incredible assistant, but beyond her work, Zoe’s dad was already developing an attraction. The duo eventually became a couple and welcomed children despite choosing not to marry. Finally, in 2008, Zoe’s parents tied the knot. By then, they had been together for over 15 years.

Laura Louie’s love for her husband has been tested through time, especially after he cheated on her with three women during a work trip in London. She did not leave him and eventually forgave the “On An Average Day” star.

Despite her husband’s fame, Louie has maintained a private life. Besides her Asian roots, not much is known about her. Perhaps one thing she and her husband both believe is that parenthood is the best thing ever to happen to them.

Woody Harrelson remains protective of his children to this day and previously made headlines for punching a man who took photos of him and his daughter as he wanted to protect their peace and privacy.

Zoe Is a Middle Child in the Family

Besides Zoe, Woody has two other daughters. Zoe’s elder sister, Deni Montana Harrelson, was born on March 5, 1994. Like Zoe, her life was kept out of the spotlight during her formative years, although she appeared at a few red-carpet events.

She was also homeschooled like Zoe, a decision their father later regretted. Eventually, Deni went to a regular school after convincing her parents.

Besides Deni, Zoe has a younger sister, Makani Ravello Harrelson, born on June 3, 2006. When Makani was born, her parents called her birth the completion of their “goddess trilogy.”

Unlike her sisters, Makani has more exposure to the public and appeared in her first film, “LBJ,” in 2016. She had a minor role in “Lost in London” the following year.
