Since Aaron Rodgers took over as the Green Bay Packers‘ starting quarterback in 2008, 14 seasons have passed and the team that plays its home games at Lambeau Field has won the NFC North Division 11 times, so dominance over the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.

Not only has this fact not gone unnoticed by Rodgers’ attention, but from a few years to date, the talented passer is not afraid to speak out and even mock the Vikings, Bears and Lions fans, this Wednesday prior to the start of the 2022 season was no exception, after statements compiled in the Packers locker room by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
“All the other teams in the NFC North, it seems like every single year, I think their fanbase and their teams feel like, ‘This is our year to win the North,'” Rodgers said. “Hasn’t really been the case during my time, for the most part.”

Green Bay and A-Rod’s dominance in the NFC North is not limited to divisional championships, also the stat sheet gives the reigning NFL MVP a blistering 56-21-1 record against Vikings, Bears and Lions combined for his entire career, plus, according to statistics compiled by Sports Illustrated he has completed 67.2% of his passes attempted, for a total of 19,407 yards with 169 touchdown passes to only 25 interceptions.
Those numbers will increase again beginning in Week 1 of the regular season, as the Packers open their season next Sunday, Sept. 11, when they take on the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Rodgers spent his first few seasons in the NFL as Brett Favre’s backup and it was only when #4 went first to the New York Jets and then to the Vikings that #12 was able to start shining and dominating his opponents.
