A man set his arm on fire after invading the court at the Laver Cup on Roger Federer’s last day as a professional tennis player.

The man, whose identity has yet to be revealed, walked onto the court during a break in the match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Diego Schwartzman at London’s 02 arena.

He then went on to set his arm on fire and screamed as the flames spread rapidly. Luckily for the protester, he managed to extinguish them as he flapped around in pure panic. Part of the court was also set alight.

Security agents were quick to remove the man from the court. The activist, who was wearing a T-shirt with ‘end private jets’ on the front, accepted his fate and didn’t struggle with the security guards as they carried him out of the venue with a cheer from the crowd. Those watching the game didn’t clearly weren’t amused by his antics.

The game eventually resumed, with Tsitsipas coming out victorious. Federer is due to play the last game of his Ilustrious career tonight with Rafa Nadal in London.
