Canelo Alvarez‘s next fight is known as he will take on Dmitry Bivol in Las Vegas on May 7, yet veteran boxing promotor Bob Arum has labelled the Mexican as really special before confirming he feels that Canelo is the favourite against the Russian.
Every single time Canelo fights it is a big event, with his legions of Mexican fans following him to Las Vegas on a regular basis.
He has become a very successful attraction in addition to being arguably the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world at this moment.
“I think Canelo is really special,” Arum told Little Giant Boxing.
“Bivol is a really good fighter.
“But, I would favour Canelo in that fight, Canelo is a warrior and has a great coach in Eddy Reynoso, and has too much for Bivol.”
