Buffalo Bills cornerback Dane Jackson was released from the hospital hours after a scare during Monday Night Football. He left the field by ambulance, with an injured neck.

It was an ugly scene. With less than a minute left in the first half of the 47-7 win over the Tennessee Titans, Jackson made a tackle on wide receiver Treylon Bruks and ended up running into a teammate directly in the neck.

Shortly after, already in the third quarter, the franchise reported that he was moving all extremities of his body.

“You go from being a coach to just a human being as you watch him being taken to the ambulance,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said after the game. “I’m praying for him. It’s an unfortunate situation, but we’re praying for him.”

And Jackson was not the only one shot in the confrontation. Safety Micah Hyde, also with a neck injury, linebacker Matt Milano, who injured nerves in his brachial plexus, and defensive tackle Jordan Philips, with muscle problems, also did not finish the game and are expected to be questionable for the next game.

The Bills return to the field next Sunday, in one of the most expected matches of week 3. In a classic AFC East, the team visits the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium.
