Canelo Alvarez: $250,000 truck stolen from his brother, asks for help on Instagram

The luxurious life of Canelo Alvarez has provoked great envy and has extended to the life of his brother, Victor “El Pale” Alvarez, who suffered the theft of a luxury van, which is valued at $250,000.

What kind of truck was stolen from Canelo’s brother?

The luxury van that Victor Alvarez lost for a few hours is a hatchback model “Brabus G-Class“, made by Mercedes Benz in collaboration with AMG. According to various sites, the price of the vehicle can range from $150,000 to $300,000, depending on the specifications, and has a production line limited to 400 units. It is also the only one of its kind in the state of Jalisco.

The truck’s specifications are: 4.0-liter V8 engine and 585 horsepower. Thanks to such equipment, it is capable of reaching 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds, in addition to providing an average fuel efficiency of 8.34 kilometers per liter consumed and reaches a speed of up to 240 km/h (150 mph).

Canelo’s brother’s complaint

“It was where I was worried, I never at any time stopped at the place, nor did I know it, nor the data of the truck, or anything, but I at the time of having accepted that they left me the truck to take it to my brother was already my responsibility” and I would have to pay for it, he referred through a publication on Instagram.

“I just wanted to clarify that point, that they didn’t steal it from me, that they didn’t take me down from any traffic light, I didn’t see any weapons, they never took me down with weapons,” Pale Álvarez assured in social media.

After the incident, the victim took to his Instagram account and posted two photographs of his truck with the caption: “I just got robbed, please help me share”.

The van is equipped with a satellite tracking device, and he alerted the state prosecutor’s office, which located the vehicle in the municipality of Ameca, in the southern part of the state.
