While Dmitry Bivol hasn’t cashed in after his victory over Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, and his wife Fernanda Gomez are enjoying their first wedding anniversary and strolling around the island of Mykonos.
Fernanda Gómez, who has more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram, has used the social network to show a bit of the celebration she has with Canelo Álvarez in Greece, where they are celebrating their first year of marriage.
This Thursday, the wife of the super middleweight world champion posted a series of photographs in which they are seen strolling around the place, in addition to posting a phrase from the philosopher Socrates, who says: “I am a citizen, not of Athens or Greece, but of the world.”

In one of the photographs, a selfie of Fernanda, Saúl Álvarez appears wearing blue pants, a cap and glasses.
Another shows Canelo Alvarez leaning against a wall and in the background one of the picturesque streets of the town where they are enjoying a few days of rest.
There are other pictures where she shows aspects of the city, such as the entrance of a house with some cats, and in another one Fernanda, wearing a sweatshirt with the caption “Mykonos, Greece“, is sitting in a restaurant.
The couple looks happy in the images and it is clear that they are enjoying these days, away from everything and, particularly Canelo, without training, boxing equipment or the pressure of preparing for a fight.
Canelo strolls and Bivol has not been paid after his victory
While they enjoy the island of Mykonos with some of the more than $50 million the fighter earned for his last fight, Dmitry Bivol has yet to receive his winnings, a situation that is not Canelo’s fault at all.
Bivol, who earned a sure $5 million for his victory against Canelo, told the Russian agency TASS that he has not received the payment and that he believes it will be difficult for it to happen, due to the sanctions imposed on Russia since they invaded Ukraine, so he is thinking about how to get paid.
