Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said he will be in the best shape of his career for the 22-23 NFL season.

Prescott underwent surgery on his left shoulder last January, however, he assured that thanks to the personal trainer he hired, his recovery has been very good and that he will be at 100 percent for the new NFL season.

“After this offseason I can assure you that I’m in the best shape I’ve been in my career. It’s time to step it up and get ready for competition,” the two-time Pro Bowl selection told ESPN.

“I never stop thinking about football. I try to prepare myself in different situations where you can’t move in football. I’ve relaxed my mind and now I’m back. I’m super excited to get started,” he finished.

Presott’s NFL numbers

Prescott shined in the 2021 season in which he broke the team record for touchdown passes with 37, which belonged to quarterback Tony Romo, who was a four-time NFL All-Star Game selection and played for the Cowboys from 2003 to 2016.

Throughout his career, the quarterback accumulated 22,083 air yards; completed 1,924 passes in 2,889 attempts; totaled 143 touchdowns and suffered 50 interceptions in 85 games.
