In a game in which they were far from the level they showed in their previous game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys put their mark 12-4 after their win against the Tennessee Titans by score of 27-13.

Dallas QB Dak Prescott had another spotty performance, with 2 intercepted passes and a fumble in the first half, in a showing that left Cowboys fans worried heading into the Playoffs.

Dallas offense struggled, but won

The absence of RB Tony Pollard was noticeable on offense for the visitors, who had Ezekiel Elliot and Malik Davis in the backfield, who had 37 and 39 yards respectively.

Prescott improved a bit in the second half, to finish with 29 of 41, for 282 yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs, with a QBR of 85.6. Although one of his interceptions was not his fault, he again had 2 INTs, for a troubling total of 10 interceptions in the last 6 games and no sign of any improvement. In 11 games he has participated in this season, in only two has he not been intercepted.

For Tennessee, QB Joshua Dobbs finished with a QBR of 67.5, a product of 20/39, 232 yards and 1 TD. On two separate occasions, the Cowboys built an 11-point lead, but struggled to crack a solid home defense.

Cowboys depend on several results to challenge for the No. 1 spot

Dallas stands with a record of 12-4, hoping that the New Orleans Saints can put their foot in it against Philadelphia, while the Titans, with a record of 7-9, will play for the all or nothing in the last game of the season, when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars.

For Dallas to be NFC East champion, it needs Philadelphia to lose its last two games and them to win the next one against Commanders, and if they want to have the NFC No. 1, in addition to the above they need both Minnesota and San Francisco to lose at least one of their two remaining games.
