Cristiano Ronaldo‘s sister provided a rather confusing answer when asked about her brother’s future at Manchester United.

Katia Aveiro was speaking on her Instagram profile about the situation surrounding her high-profile brother and his very possible exit from the Premier League side.

The Portuguese forward reportedly told the club recently that he would like to be allowed to leave if an appropriate offer is made for his services.

One user on Instagram asked Aveiro: “Cristiano will stay (in) Manchester?”

Her reply could be interpreted in many different ways, but she said: “I suggest some glasses… a span of brain or else learn to read haaa and notion.”

Many have taken that answer to mean that if you read what is being said by the press about the situation, it is clear that he would like to leave Manchester United this summer and pursue a new challenge elsewhere.

Where will Cristiano Ronaldo play next season?

A few clubs have been linked with the former Juventus and Real Madrid striker but it is not immediately clear where he will be playing his football next season.

Fellow Premier League side Chelsea have held meetings with his representatives over a possible deal but Manchester United are continuing to maintain that the Portuguese is not for sale and will be part of the squad that Erik ten Hag has inherited.

Adding fuel to the fire, the player has not been included in the Red Devils squad that has travelled to Bangkok for the first leg of their pre-season tour. They will be playing against Liverpool on Tuesday.

The official reason given is that Ronaldo has been excused because he has a family issue that needs to be attended to. No date has been put on when he will be available to join up with the rest of his teammates.
