This Saturday, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, a four-time NBA champion, had a press conference to publicly address his altercation with Jordan Poole during practice that ended up with Green sucker punching his teammate, an incident that made Draymond look even worst once the video was leaked by TMZ Sports.
He at one point expressed his desire to play on the NBA’s 2022-2023 season against the Lakers, but he left the decision to the organization.

Draymond Green said that he wanted to do a press conference to adress the incident in which he punched his teammate Jordan Poole and publicly apologized to him and his family, specially for having to see the video that was leaked and having to relive the moment.
Green said that he’ll be stepping away from the team for some time before the season starts as he admitted his wrongdoing, giving the team days to see how the situation evolvs and how it can be mended.
He also expressed that the looming contract situation had nothing to do with his fight with Poole.
