Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green recently stated that he would like to join the Los Angeles Lakers should he ever leave his current situation, according to Sean Deveney of Heavy.
Following his altercation with Jordan Poole, Green linking up with close friend LeBron James might become a reality sooner than expected.

Green, 32, could reject his player option for next year and demand he receive a max deal.
Poole, 23, is also waiting on a contract extension, and getting punched in the face by a teammate just gave him incredible leverage in negotiations.
If they don’t work things out between them, one would probably have to leave, and the franchise will likely side with the younger player.
Green reportedly offered an internal apology to his teammates and coaching staff, but it may not be enough.
Trae Young trolls Draymond Green
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young took to Twitter to troll Green for sucker punching Poole.
“Draymond [Green] is trying to get to LA,” Young wrote. “Damn!”
Young, 24, was not the only NBA player to react to the altercation.
Phoenix Suns guard Mikal Bridges simply wrote, “FIGHTINS.”
Former players, including JR Smith, Richard Jefferson and Reggie Miller also offered their takes on the fight.
Stephen Jackson from the ALL THE SMOKE podcast revealed that he told Green to patch things up with Poole, who was reportedly not physically hurt by the punch.
