The start of the Philadelphia Eagles season is enough to have Philly fans extra rowdy. And who wouldn’t be? Their perfect start and status as the only undefeated team in the NFL so far in 2022 is something to be ecstatic about.

One fan in particular, with likely one drink too many, lived out the fantasy of any NFL fan: to run out of the tunnel with the players. The only problem is that it wasn’t anything the Eagles had agreed to via the Make a Wish Foundation or any other franchise condoned stunt. It was just an intoxicated man who decided to jump onto the field at the perfect moment.

Waving a shirt in the air, the Philly fan ran out of the tunnel at Lincoln Financial Field as the players ran out and perfectly avoided him as they sprinted onto the field. Many players thought this was a planned activity, and players like Jason Kelce were seen returning his high-fives.

The Eagles will review the incident and decide on punishment

It is unclear whether the fan in question is a season-ticket holder. The Philadelphia Eagles are allegedly reviewing the incident to see how it happened and then decide if a punishment is warranted. The fan was escorted out of the stadium and unable to see any official gameplay from the Eagles win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Lincoln Financial Field, like most stadiums in the NFL and pro sports, has a code of conduct which is especially harsh with season-ticket holders.
