Ebanie Bridges stole the headlines for two reasons at her latest boxing fight, as she attended the weigh-in wearing nude-effect lingerie, and then knocked out Shannon O’Connell in the actual bout.
The ‘Blonde Bomber’ of boxing won by an eighth round KO over her fellow Aussie to retain her IBF bantamweight world championship crown.
Bridges prevailed in a tough and bloody fight that referee Howard Foster eventually stopped in the eighth round because of the punishment O’Connell was taking.
“It was one of the toughest fights of my career,” said Bridges after the fight.

Afterwards, Bridges used irony to respond to the criticism she had received from O’Connell during the build-up.
“I didn’t do too bad for ‘a skanky stripper’,” she said, referring to some of the criticism she’d received.
“It was a real ‘take that, how do you like them apples moment’.
“I’m not usually disrespectful to my opponents, but she’s been so disrespectful to me the whole time, so I can’t really give her that much respect.”

In her pre-fight preview against O’Connell, media personality Bridges announced her move to OnlyFans, the uncensored adult website.
“I was the first to weigh in with lingerie and received a lot of backlash, but I paved the way for other women in the sport to have the confidence to do the same,” Bridges said.
“I expect a similar controversy with this, but I intend to be a trailblazer in the sport and inspire many other women so they can act freely without worrying about how they will be judged.
“Now you can get exclusive content from my training, my daily life, plus all the fun stuff.”
Both at the weigh-in and in her fight against O’Connell, the Australian boxer was already sporting OnlyFans advertising.
