Much has been made of Tom Brady‘s decision to un-retire. The seven-time Super Bowl winner enjoyed a stellar career with the New England Patriots winning six of his seven Super Bowls before adding his seventh with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2020 season.

However after deciding to retire last year, Brady shocked the world, including his soon-to-be ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, by announcing he would rejoin the Tampa Bay Buccaneers once again.

Aged 45 Brady‘s return has been far from successful with many questioning the wisdom of his decision. In fact, former Buccaneers quarter back Shaun King has insisted Brady‘s powers are waning.

“I think it is,” King said on CBS Sports Radio when asked if Brady‘s body was in decline.

“You know the thing about Father Time, he don’t really give you like a two-week notice. Father Time just shows up and, you know, you go to make a cut you used to make and you can’t make it; you go to throw a pass that you used to make and now, its ahhhh. … he is trying to adjust on the fly as he’s deteriorating because of age.”

It will be interesting to see how Brady‘s season progresses with the superstar battling several off-field and on-field issues at the moment.
