DeShawn Stevenson, a starter for the Dallas Mavericks during their 2011 NBA championship run, is auctioning his ring on SCP Auctions.

As of writing this article, the current bid stands at $37,901 with a little over 20 hours left until the auction is over. Stevenson started every game in Dallas’ 2011 playoff run, except for the last three contests of the NBA Finals.

Former head coach Rick Carlisle decided to put J.J. Barea in the starting five over Stevenson. The latter, however, came off the bench to shoot 13-for-23 from deep in those three games, including three triples in Dallas’ Game 6 victory over LeBron James and the Miami Heat.

The Mavericks completed the team’s first ever championship title run by beating the Heat 4-2. Dirk Nowitzki and company went through the Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers on their way to a championship.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban paid a total of $1.4 million for the championship rings, which are covered in diamonds. The 10K gold ring includes more than 130 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 2.75 carats.

– 31 diamonds surround Mavericks logo on top of ring to commemorate 31 seasons of existence, with “WORLD CHAMPIONS” written above and beneath logo.

– Right shank of ring has a Larry O’Brien trophy made of diamonds under the words “DALLAS MAVERICKS.”

– Team motto “THE TIME IS NOW” and “2011” surround the trophy.

– On the left shank is DeShawn’s last name “STEVENSON” above the team’s alternate logo, NBA logo, and his number “92.”

– Inside of ring is engraved with results of each playoff series en route to the championship.

– Weighs 90 grams and is size 13.

– Includes its original presentation case.
