Five-time Pro Bowl ball carrier Frank Gore has been charged with simple assault after he allegedly dragged a naked 28-year-old woman down the hallway of a hotel in Atlantic City last month.

The alleged incident occurred late last month when officers were called to a dispute at the Havana tower of Atlantic City’s Tropicana casino. TMZ has since obtained court documents claiming that Gore “forcibly grabbed” the woman by the hair before “violently dragging her naked person across the floor of the 59th corridor.”

“On July 31, 2022, at 8:11 a.m., patrol units were dispatched to Tropicana Atlantic City for a report of a domestic violence dispute,” an Atlantic City Police Department statement said.

“Officers arrived to find the victim, a 28-year-old woman from Miami, Florida, speaking with hotel security.

“The victim showed no signs of injury and no complaint was filed at the time.

“However, a subsequent investigation resulted in Franklin Gore being charged with simple assault in connection with the domestic violence incident.

“Gore was issued a summons to appear in court pending a future court date.”

The 39-year-old played in the NFL for 16 seasons, playing for the San Francisco 49ers for most of his career.

Gore made history for the most appearances at running back at 241 in 2020 and recorded 16,000 yards on the ground during a career that also featured the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.

He retired from the sport in June after a one-day contract with the 49ers and entered the boxing world.

Gore faced former NBA player Deron Williams in an exhibition fight last December on Jake Paul’s undercard against Tyron Woodley.

The NFL man was defeated by split decision at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

However, Gore won his first professional fight in May, defeating Yaya Olorunsola with a brutal fourth-round knockout.

In February 2014, former Baltimore Ravens ball carrier Ray Rice and his then-fiancée (now wife) were arrested after an altercation at an Atlantic City casino.
