Tyson Fury‘s retirement was always likely to be short lived, and so it proved. The Brit now wants to take on Oleksandr Usyk after the Ukrainian beat Anthony Joshua.

Claiming he grew bored of retirement, Fury also said that he would be keen to fight Joshua and is said to have offered the latter a 40 percent split of earnings should they get into the ring to face off.

“I got bored with retirement,” Fury told The Ring magazine.

“I had five months out the ring and changed my mind. Nobody believed me anyway, did they?

“It was great. But nothing will ever compare with being heavyweight champion of the world.

“I love boxing. I absolutely adore it.”

Fury now wants to take on AJ in November, though that date is unlikely given Joshua only just fought in August.

“He would be a massive underdog, so he’s in a win-win situation,” Fury said in an obvious attempt to twist Joshua‘s arm.

“If everyone expects him to lose and he beats me, then he’s back on top and bigger than ever.

“And if he’s lost three, what difference does it make if he loses four? Four losses means nothing. Look at Derek Chisora, he’s had 12 losses and he’s still battling away”
