The rivalry between Gennady Golovkin and Saul Canelo Alvarez has come a long way, in the last presentations in front of the press the Mexican has insulted his rival, but the Kazakh had a very special way to mock the aztec.

Golovkin and Canelo faced each other for the first time on September 16, 2017, the fight ended in a majority draw, so an immediate rematch was agreed, but it could not be done quickly.

The second fight was agreed for May 5, 2018, but in January of that year Canelo Alvarez tested positive for clenbuterol, so the fight was postponed. The Mexican said that the positive was because he ate contaminated meat, not because he wanted to cheat, but this excuse was not bought by Golovkin or his trainer at the time Abel Sanchez.

Then Golovkin appears while punching a punching bag and they end with a phrase: “And it’s called hard work.”
