Cristiano Ronaldo‘s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez has taken to social media to hit out at Portugal coach Fernando Santos over his decision not to start the striker against Morocco.

Having already complained about CR7’s benching against Switzerland, she did so again on Saturday, only this time she fired a direct attack at the tactician.

She made her feelings known through her Instagram stories: “Today your friend and coach made the wrong decision. That friend for whom you have so many words of admiration and respect. The same one who, by getting you into the game, saw how everything changed, but it was too late. You can’t underestimate the best player in the world, your most powerful weapon. Nor can you stick up for someone who doesn’t deserve it. Life teaches us lessons. Today we didn’t lose, we learned. @Cristiano. We admire you.”

Her anger after Switzerland

Cristiano‘s girlfriend didn’t hesitate in showing her followers that she was in Qatar with her friends supporting the Portuguese national team in recent days.

She also hasn’t kept quiet, and made her feelings known when she saw that Ronaldo was left out of the the starting line-up against Switzerland: “What a shame not to have been able to enjoy the best player in the world for 90 minutes. The fans have not stopped calling for you and shouting your name.”

The star of the reality show ‘I am Georgina’ concluded her post by wishing Portugal good luck in the next round of the World Cup: “I hope that God and your dear friend Fernando continue hand in hand and make us enjoy one more night.”
