Erling Haaland is loving life as a Manchester City player, and particularly working under Pep Guardiola.
The Norwegian has hit the ground running this season, having 12 goals to his name already. Ten of those have come in the Premier League.
“He’s a football fanatic just like I am,” Haaland told Telemundo Deportes.
“We both love football. He was a player and now he’s a coach, and he’s crazy about football.
“That’s something I like a lot because he thinks about everything and how we can improve. That’s something I like about him.”
There had been some doubts about Haaland and how he would fit at City, given the system they play.
“It’s a complicated system,” Haaland said. “But I’m trying to internalise it as soon as possible.
“I can’t waste any time.
“I know my own qualities, I know how good the team I’ve joined are. I was a bit surprised [to have started so well], but it’s not a huge shock.”

“It’s a nice club with very good people,” Haaland said. “They’ve been very good to me from the beginning.
“It’s always hard to change countries, leagues, clubs, but they’ve helped a lot and I’m very happy.”
