Erling Haaland’s future is still unresolved, with a host of top European clubs pursuing his services but, for now, the Norwegian is simply remaining silent and waiting.

While Kylian Mbappe appears set to join Real Madrid at the end of the season, Haaland’s next club is still up for debate.

The Norwegian has not said anything since last January. The truth is that few, if anyone, knows where he will go although it now looks down to two clubs: Manchester City and Real Madrid, as Barcelona begin to accept reality.

Manchester City are no longer hiding it and feel they have the money and the power to sign him. Real Madrid, on the other hand, have for some time now been throwing their weight around in an attempt to keep a low profile in the absence of a definitive answer.

According to MARCA, the two options are still open, as the main point in Haaland‘s decision is not the money but the sporting project.

Haaland is soaking up everything that is going on, what the day to day at either club is like, who might sign, who might leave and just about everything else. Nobody has been told whether he prefers one team above the other.

Adidas also waiting

His departure from Borussia Dortmund has been agreed at 75 million euros, as MARCA reported last December.

His departure is guaranteed and everything seems to indicate that he will be the only major star of the German club to leave in the summer.

Haaland recently posed in a Nike sweater but wearing Adidas shoes. Although he has not signed for either of the sporting brand giants, the youngster is expected to pick the three stripes of Adidas.
