Joey Bosa, the stellar outside linebacker from the Los Angeles Chargers is expected to be activated from Injured Reserved before their next game against the Los Angeles Rams, in a game hosting both of SoFi Stadium’s home teams.

This means good news for Chargers head coach Brandon Staley, who has managed to get the team back to Playoffs despite multiple injuries to key players in the roster.

Joey Bosa last played over 13 weeks ago, after he teared his right groin during the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 25th. He had surgery on both groins and this week he assured that he’s been dealing with his abductor muscle for at least two years.

Staley said that the team didn’t want to rush Bosa back to the field, as they wanted to wait until they felt that he was capable of going out to the field and perform to a high level, something he’s been able to do in practice already.

“What’s been amazing for me to see is just how he feels now. There’s just a piece there where I feel good. I’m excited to see him go out there and play football like I know he knows how and to have that freedom to know that he’s healthy.”

Safety Derwin James is out with a concussion

Superstar safety Derwin James will not be able to suit up for the Chargers’ “Battle for LA”, when they face the Rams this Sunday, as he continues to be in the NFL’sconcussion protocol, therefore he hasn’t been cleared to play and has been ruled out with a couple of days left for the matchup.

On the brightside, the player wasn’t suspended for his hard hit against the Colts, which saw him get disqualified from the game.
