There is one name at the top of the Miami Heat‘s wishlist this summer: Kevin Durant.

The Brooklyn Nets forward is the Heat’s top pick should they make a big trade splash, with the team now exploring their options in order to make the deal happen.

Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer says Miami’s desire to get Durant is so great that they aren’t considering making a move for Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz.

“The Miami Heat remain focused on acquiring one of those aforementioned All-Stars, and multiple sources with knowledge of the situation told B/R that Miami has prioritized pursuing Durant over Mitchell,” Fischer said via Twitter.

Although both players have established themselves as stars in recent years, there is no denying Durant is on another level compared to Mitchell.

However, while Miami may have Durant high on their wishlist, that doesn’t mean a deal is close to happening.

The Nets have made it clear they will only trade their star forward if they get a big return.
