News continues to emerge about socialite, reality TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, who after being sued by her former housekeeper is now the target of a series of sanctions sought by the plaintiffs.

Kardashian was sued in May 2021 by seven of her former employees, who claimed that the TV star did not pay them overtime or cover expenses and also made them work without a break, in addition to allegedly withholding 10 percent of their money for taxes without reporting their employment to tax authorities.

Former Latino Employees Sue Kardashian

The housekeeper leading the lawsuit against Kardashian, Andrew Ramirez, along with her brother Christopher Ramirez and her son Andrew Ramirez Jr, plus four other former Latino employees of Kardashian (Aron Cabrera, Rene Ernesto Flores, Jesse Fernandez and Robert Araiza) are demanding $1,857.50 in penalties.

In addition, the plaintiffs are asking Kardashian for a list of questions for the socialite to answer directly, as well as requesting that the TV star turn over general images of the employees on her property.

Kardashian’s fans don’t support her after controversial quote

Amid new information about the lawsuit against her, recent statements from Kardashian are being used to criticize her stance on her apparent treatment of her employees.

During her recent interview with Variety, Kardashian left a stinging statement that, in the context of the lawsuit, is being used against her: “Get Your Fucking Ass Up and Work! It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”

Some social media users have changed part of that controversial Kardashian phrase to read, “Get your f***ing a** up and [underpay your employees]! It seems like no one wants to [neglect the help] these days.”
