While they still try to figure out what wen’t wrong during Game 1 of the series, Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors spoke to the media after June 4th’s practice this Saturday. Game 2 is taking place at Chase Center as well, followed by a trip to Boston for two consecutive games in the series.

If they lose Sunday’s game, the Warriors could very well kiss the finals good bye due to how difficult it is to win at TD Garden in front of that crowd. Historically, the Boston Celtics fans are infamous for how much they insult rival players and how much they can influence the game for their team. With all this said, Klay Thompson has a short but sweet answer of how the Warriors will tackle Sunday’s game.

We are going to play with desperation tomorrow, and I think that’s when we are at our best.

Klay Thompson.

Curry trusts his teammates as well.

When asked about the upcoming game, Stephen Curry is also confident on his teammates’ capacity to win this game. He wanted to remind everyone how they responded right after a painful loss against Ja Morant’s Memphis Grizzlies earlier in the Playoffs: “Look at how we responded from Game 5 to Game 6 in the Memphis series, Game 4 to 5 in the Dallas series,” Curry said.

“Even moments throughout the regular season where things are starting to get away from us a little bit at times and kind of have your come-to-Jesus moment, like we need to play right. How are we going to flip the script and get things back on the right track? We usually responded pretty well,” he added.

But we are all wondering whether these Golden State Warriors have what it takes to win the fourth championship of hte last decade. We do gotta say that during the regular season, there was a faltering moment in which this team wasn’t able to respond to certain challenges.

If key players like Draymond Green and Klay Thompson himself don’t step up to the plate, this Warriors dynasty will lose the NBA Finals for the third time. Stephen Curry can’t do everything by himself, he needs all the help he can get from his teammates.
