LeBron James and Tom Brady are two of the biggest sporting names that the United States of America has ever produced. They are the heroes of millions and the enemies of those whose teams have come up against them and failed.
At the moment, though, they seem to be making headlines for many of the wrong reasons in their respective sports.
The reason is their teams are massively underperforming compared to what the fans and pundits had expected.

LeBron is the headline act for the Los Angeles Lakers team and they are in terrible form, having started the new NBA season with a 0-3 record.
They lost 123-109 on the road against Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors on opening night, when the Lakers were dominated in every department.
Many fans have seized the opportunity to criticise LeBron, given opportunities to do so have been so few during his career.

Not much better for Brady’s Bucs
Over in the NFL, Brady‘s Tampa Bay Buccaneers side are having a horrible time and their last match saw them get beaten 21-3 by the Carolina Panthers, a result that was very embarrassing for the Florida outfit.
There is only one other time in his career where Brady has had a losing record after seven games and that was in 2002, his first full season in the sport. He has now matched it in what could be his last season as the Bucs are now at 3-4.

There are heavy suggestions from many fans in the NBA that LeBron‘s levels have not actually dropped and it is just that the Lakers have surrounded him with the wrong type of players to get the best out of him.
As for Brady, though, there seems to be more of a belief that he could just be beyond his best and the decision to undo his retirement may not have been a wise one. The collective level at the Bucs has certainly dropped this season as well, though, after they lost Bruce Arians as coach.
