After a report surfaced online stating that Oregon was a frontrunner to land highly sought prospect Bronny James, his father LeBron James took to Twitter to say that Bronny hasn’t even taken a visit to campus during his college search.
Where will Bronny James play in college?
Jamie Shaw from On3.com was the one who reported that Oregon had became the frontrunner in the search to land Bronny James, while USC and Ohio State continue to actively recruit the four-star prospect, while there’s also mention of schools like Michigan or UCLA fighting to land him.
Oregon seems like a good and logic fit for Bronny, specially on the program’s side of things due to their long-standing relationship with Nike, who at the same time has a lifetime contract with the ‘King’.
Bronny James’ middle school teammate has already commited to Oregon
Oregon isn’t just recruiting Bronny James, the program also wants to attract the top talent in the nation, and that includes one of Bronny’s old teammates from his playing days with the North Coast Blue Chips.
Mookie Cook is a five-star recruit that took part of that travel team with James as kids, so maybe a connection is brewing between Oregon and LeBron James’ heir.
Regardless of which college Bronny James chooses, he’ll become eligible for the NBA Draft in 2024, and his father LeBron James has made it clear he intends to play with him in the league.
