Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is a billionaire that still carries his own snacks to sporting events, as showcased during his courtside appearance at the NBA Summer League on Friday.

During the Lakers’ contest against the Phoenix Suns, James was spotted eating a plastic bag full of nuts that he brought from home.

NBA Twitter quickly pointed out that “LeSnacks” was a billionaire and still refuses to purchase items from the concession stand at sporting events.

Food and drinks are often a highly-expensive purchase at an arena but James is a top tier athlete who measures every single calorie that goes in his body.

James could obviously purchase a burger or nachos at any price, choosing instead to kill the “munchies” with a healthy snack containing almonds.

LeBron James vs. Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook was also in attendance at the Summer League game but sat on the opposite end of the court from James.

The two reportedly did not greet each other all night while others like Talen Horton-Tucker, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Lakers GM Rob Pelinka and head coach Darvin Ham all said hello to LeBron.

King James has reportedly pushed Pelinka to trade for Kyrie Irving in a deal that would include Westbrook.

Westbrook, meanwhile, was seen coaching his younger teammates on the bench, proving he wants to be a part of the franchise.

Nets are still taking things slow regarding an Irving trade and demand a draft pick along with Westbrook.
