Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan was on the wrong side of history on Saturday when his team blew a 33-point halftime lead to the Minnesota Vikings, the largest comeback ever in the NFL.

Ryan, 37, is still haunted from being on losing end of the largest comeback win in Super Bowl history when Tom Brady and the New England Patriots won 34-28 after trailing the Atlanta Falcons 3-28 near the end of the third quarter.

He now has to add this loss to his resume, the largest-ever come-from-behind victory in NFL history, all while his interim head coach Jeff Saturday has to deal with empowered doubters.

Saturday, 47, replaced Frank Reich midseason and won his first game in charge, a close victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Colts are now on a four-game skid since beating Las Vegas, and the interim head coach will be known as the man behind the biggest blunder in league history, ironically occurring on a Saturday.

Colts fall to Vikings in epic OT

Ryan finished the game with 182 passing yards and a touchdown on 19-for-33 completions, most of his production coming in the first half.

Vikings held the Colts to a single field goal through the second half and overtime to complete the greatest comeback ever.

Kirk Cousins threw for 460 yards and four TDs on 34-for-54 completions against two interceptions.

Cousins, 34, racked up over 400 yards in the second half, all but sealing the best character arc in league history.
