Real Madrid fans are understandably devastated and frustrated that Kylian Mbappe has decided to renew his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, but the forward’s mother has revealed that there was never an agreement in place to head to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Some journalists have decided to attack Mbappe, such as Frederic Hermel.
“In football there are those who keep their word. And then there is Mbappe…,” Hermel tweeted.
This led to a response from Mbappe‘s mother, Fayza Lamari.
“Mr Hermel. When you don’t know, keep your mouth shut… no agreement was ever reached,” she responded.
It is worth noting that it was Mbappe‘s mother who sat down with both Real Madrid and PSG, but what Los Blancos understood to be a ‘yes’ was ultimately not the case, as the player decided to accept the Parisians’ proposal instead.
