Kylian Mbappe‘s mother has stated that there is very little difference in the offers on the table for her son from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old’s future is more uncertain than ever, and his mother, Fayza Lamari, has stated that it is now up to her son to make the final decision.
“The two offers, the one from PSG and the one from Real Madrid, are almost identical,” she told Kora Plus.
“At Real Madrid, my son would have control over his image rights.
“Now we wait for his decision. There is little between the two offers and we are now waiting for Mbappe to choose what he wants to do.”
She went on to state that the meetings with Real Madrid and PSG are finished.
“We won’t have new meetings to discuss Mbappe‘s future, the meetings are over,” she said.
“We have now reached an agreement with Real Madrid and PSG and the discussions are over because it is Kylian who has to choose.”
Mbappe‘s future is unclear. His PSG deal ends on June 30, but there is uncertainty over whether he will sign a new deal or join Real Madrid.
Real Madrid’s stance
Real Madrid‘s excitement over the last week has reduced significantly as it has looked more likely that he will remain at PSG.
Whilst various members of the Real Madrid club hierarchy have been left confused by his actions, other directors had been expecting this, as they knew he would not make his decision until the last minute.
PSG are desperate for him to stay, with Emmanuel Macron asking for Mbappe to remain at the Parisian club.
Everything will become clear over the coming days after PSG‘s final match of the season against Metz on Saturday.
