Paris Saint-Germain visited Qatar on a trip organised by one of the club’s sponsors, and Kylian Mbappe was very casual at the events in which he took part.
There was a curious point to note in the forward’s meeting with David Beckham.
The two embraced and the Englishman said “see you later”, to which Mbappe smiled. Perhaps the two of them would go on to meet up later in the day, out of the spotlight, to talk about other subjects.
There is, of course, always the chance that Beckham‘s words were just him using a classic English-language way of saying goodbye, in which there is no real implication that the people involved in the conversation will see one another again any time soon.
Mbappe is expected at Real Madrid
Mbappe is expected to leave PSG on a free transfer this summer, and he is widely expected to join Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old caused a stir recently when he was spotted in the Spanish capital, just a few hundred metres from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
