Duncan Robinson was the star of the show as the Miami Heat recorded a valuable victory over an uninspiring Atlanta Hawks team on Sunday evening.

Robinson went an amazing eight of nine in terms of three-point shots and he tallied 27 points by the end of the game, totally outshining Trae Young, who is usually the difference maker for the Hawks.

Young had an awful evening, barely scoring eight points and succeeding with just one of his 12 attempted shots from beyond the arc.

It was his worst game of the season whilst Robinson had a career day for a playoff game, meanwhile Jimmy Butler ably supported him by scoring 21 points and registering six rebounds.

Atlanta arrived into the matchup with confidence after beating both the Charlotte Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers to secure their playoff berth through the play-in tournament.

Young was pulled from the game before the final buzzer, with Atlanta needing to try and get the series back on track in Tuesday’s Game 2 in Miami.
