Before today, we only knew about a couple of legendary Muhammad Ali’s grandsons. They are both adults and they both are involved with combat sports. Their names are Nico and Baggio Ali Walsh. The former is a pro boxer and the latter is an MMA fighter. None of them have too much success yet but they are only starting their careers. Due to their father’s resemblance, they don’t look a lot like Muhammad Ali. However, daughter Laila Ali just showed a photo of her son, Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr. He is also the son of former NFL wide receiver, Curtis Conway.
In the photo, Laila appears close to Curtis Jr. and he shows that he is the spitting image of his grandfather. He is only 14 years old, we still have no idea if he’ll be an athlete or if he’ll decide to do something else. But at least he already got the looks from his grandpa, Ali is smiling from heaven right now. Curtis Conway Sr. played for the San Diego Chargers, the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Jets. He was named on the first-team All-Americans in 1992. Curtis started his career in 1993 and retired in 2004.

Twitter users who saw an image shared on social media were quick to point at the resemblence he also shares with his father. They offered photo evidence from the times Conway Sr. was still very young. The most shared image is one of Curtis’ stint with the Chicago Bears. But the one Curtis Jr. looks like the most is definitely his grandad. We need to wait and see if he’ll decide to take a similar route to either his father or his grandfather.
Should he choose to take a crack at combat sports, Muhammad Ali will now have three grandsons who decided to go his route. Despite only boxing throughout his career, Muhammad Ali has been an inspiration for athletes of all combat sports. His reach is not only linked to strictly boxing. Just as he did through his activism, Muhammad Ali surpassed borders in his own arena.
