After the exciting win from the previus game that tied the series, the Chicago Bulls arrived at the third game against the Milwaukee Bucks filled with confidence. Throughout the entire season, these Bulls always gave the fans hope for a new era that was being led by a brilliant DeMar DeRozan with historic performances. There was only one problem, they are facing the reigning champions right now and Giannis Antetokounmpo is not the only threat for their rivals. When they are locked in, these Bucks have many more great players who can deliver impressive results and they proved that today with a massiveblowout win.
Surprisingly, Giannis Antetokounmpo was able to rest from an early stage of the game due to how well his teammates were playing. He did end up delivering 29 minutes for 18 points in the game, but he was backed by other stars who showed up today. Grayson Allen wasthe Bucks’ top scorer with 22 points. With Khris Middleton injured, it was time for Jrue Holiday and Bobby Portis to show up. The former got 16 points and the ladder got 18. Portis was impressive on the defense as well with 16 rebounds. By the end of the third quarter, Bucks were already winning by more than 30 points. Giannis saw the chance to rest and he took it.
What happened to the Bulls?
In short, Milwaukee Bucks simply humbled the Chicago Bulls in their own stadium with Zach LaVine only getting 15 points and DeRozan completely lost with 11. Needless to say, Bulls fans were fuming at the massive beating they got that turned out to be historic. This is the second worst Playoff defeat in Chicago Bulls’ history, only surpassed by a 37 loss to the Miami Heat back in 2013. Sunday is a new day for the Bulls, they will get a chance to redeem themselves at home during Game 4 of the Playoffs against these Bucks.
