Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai took to Twitter on Monday to express his support for head coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks.
The tweet comes after reports of Kevin Durant meeting face-to-face with Tsai to give him an ultimatum.
Durant reportedly is not happy with the direction of the team and told Tsai to fire Nash and Marks if he wanted to keep him in Brooklyn.
Tsai’s latest tweet is seemingly his decision on that ultimatum, saying the front office and coaching staff have his full support.
“Our front office and coaching staff have my support,” Tsai wrote. “We will make decisions in the best interest of the Brooklyn Nets.”

According to the Durant-Tsai meeting report, Kyrie Irving thinks Nash is terrible and Marks is bad.
Durant is now echoing those same sentiments, which makes it seem like he’s being controlled by Irving.
Irving has been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason but the team is first waiting to see what will happen with Durant, who requested a trade.
The franchise has struggled to find a satisfactory trade package for Durant.

After getting swept by the Boston Celtics in last season’s NBA Playoffs, Durant showed his support for Nash in his postgame interview and was optimistic about the summer.
“Steve’s been dealt a crazy hand the last two years,” Durant said. “He’s had to deal with so much stuff as a head coach, a first-time coach. Trades, injuries, COVID and just a lot of stuff he had to deal with.
“I’m proud of how he’s focused and his passion for us. We all continue to keep developing over the summer and see what happens.”
Now that Tsai has said the organization will make the best decision for the team, Durant and Irving getting traded will likely be the outcome of this entire ordeal.
