Nobody can stand Aaron Rodgers in GB: more and more voices against him

One of the former teammates of the Green Bay Packers‘ star starting QB lashed out at Aaron Rodgers after the Super Bowl XLV MVP showcased the current roster.

Greg Jenning criticized Aaron Rodgers after the QB mentioned on the Pat McAfee Show that he lamented the “mental mistakes” of his teammates. The Packers lost the previous Sunday to the Washington Commanders and hold a negative record in their seven games played.

“You can’t do this,” Jennings said, according to Fox Sports’ Carmen Vitali. “You can’t sit on a show and start talking about who should and shouldn’t play because of mental mistakes.”

“We all see that they need help at the wide receiver position, but who can you really bring in that will solidify that No. 1 position and allow them to thrive the way we’ve seen in the past with Davante Adams being their No. 1?”

“Aaron Rodgers has to play better. These receivers understand they have to make plays, but Aaron Rodgers also has to play better,” Jennings said. “This team is not out yet, but when you look at their schedule and you look at who they have next, the Buffalo Bills, then the (Dallas) Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles are still on their schedule, the Rams, Dolphins, this could get ugly.”

Aaron Rodgers has expressed on multiple occasions the frustration suffered from a poor start to the season with a 3-4 record and losing to opponents that can be considered accessible.

Following the departure of Davante Adams in the offseason after being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, Rodgers has not created a connection with his new receivers.

“Guys who are making too many mistakes, they shouldn’t be playing,” Rodgers told McAfee on Tuesday. “We’ve got to start cutting some reps. Maybe the guys that aren’t playing, maybe give them a chance.”
