The Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) trailed the Washington Commanders (5-5) by six points at halftime of Monday Night Football at Lincoln Financial Field.

Philadelphia fans, who have a reputation for being unforgiving, booed quarterback Jalen Hurts and the rest of the Eagles team as they walked into the tunnel.

Being the first squad to go 8-0 in franchise history is apparently not enough for the Philly “faithful,” who demand perfection at every turn.

Instead of cheering on their undefeated team, which trailed in the second half for the first time this season, the home fans applied more pressure on them to remain unbeaten.

In all fairness, the Eagles did have a horrible outing, but there’s never a positive outcome when fans boo their own team, especially at halftime.

Philadelphia magic is officially over

Philadelphia fans were having an unbelievable year due to its various sports franchises performing admirably.

The magic, however, has quickly dissipated ever since the Union lost the MLS Cup final and the Phillies lost the MLB World Series, both on the same day.

Now that the Eagles are no longer undefeated and the 76ers look inconsistent, Philadelphia fans are back from cloud nine.

Eagles will get a break from their spoiled fans as they look to bounce back Sunday against the new-look Indianapolis Colts.
