It had been thought that Paris Saint-Germain were on the cusp of sweeping change, starting with their coach, Mauricio Pochettino.

However, the Argentine has made clear that in his mind both he and Kylian Mbappe are 100 percent staying with the Parisian club.

Rumours linking Pochettino with an imminent dismissal appear to have been wide of the mark, despite the negativity surrounding the club’s Ligue 1 triumph, which a number of their supporters refused to acknowledge or celebrate.

“As of today, I’m 100 percent staying and it’s the same for Mbappe,” Pochettino declare at a press conference.

“That is how I feel today, that is what I can say to you today, I can’t say anything else.

“This is football, and we never know what might happen, but I have to answer the question based on how I feel today.”

Pochettino discussed Neymar’s outburst

After Neymar was critical of his own supporters after the Ligue 1 title was secured, Pochettino moved to defend the remarks made by the Brazilian.

“We’re talking about one of the best players in the world,” he added.

“He has ups and downs, like the whole team.

“We came together at the moment where we were finding our connection.”
