Not only has Paul Pogba likely played his last match for Manchester United, as a result of injury, but the midfielder has also seemingly sent his final message to the WhatsApp group for the club’s players.
The Frenchman has been a leading personality in the Old Trafford dressing room since his return to the club in 2016, but he is already starting his farewells.
According to the Daily Mirror, this includes leaving the players’ WhatsApp group. That newspaper reports that the midfielder has already informed his teammates that he’ll depart in the summer and that he has sent a final message in the WhatsApp group, before leaving the conversation.
With his contract expiring in the summer, Pogba is about to become a free agent and he is not expected to pen a new deal with Manchester United.

Ralf Rangnick has stated that Pogba probably won’t be back from injury in time to play for Manchester United one last time.
“With his scan, it is very unlikely he will play until the end of the season again,” the coach said.
“The doctor told me it will take four weeks minimum for him to recover and the last game is the end of May. I don’t think it’s very likely he will play again.”
As such, his final appearance for Manchester United will be the 4-0 thrashing they suffered against Liverpool at Anfield last week.
The 2021/22 season has been plagued by injuries and the 29-year-old will look to get back to his best, both physically and in terms of performance, at another club. It remains to be seen exactly where he and his agent Mino Raiola will find a landing spot, but there are still several clubs on the continent who are interested in acquiring his services.
