Starting this Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors are putting their NBA title on the line. That ring that they will be given before the game against the LA Lakers makes them the hunted in 2022/23.

There are plenty of teams that will be doing all they can to win a ring this year.

Can the Golden State Warriors repeat?

The Warriors lost Gary Payton II, but signed Donte DiVincenzo. Given that the backbone of the team is still on the roster, expectations are high.

Stephen Curry should continue to be the leader and will be in the fight for the MVP of the season.

Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins already mixed well last season, while they also have Kevin Looney and Jordan Poole. They are the team to beat without a doubt.

The difference with last year is that Thompson is 100 percent from day one. The negative part is the incident with Green‘s punch of Poole and if this will affect the harmony in the team.

Can the Boston Celtics take the next step?

The Celtics, despite having suspended coach Ime Udoka for a year, are a major alternative because of players like Jayson Tatum, Jalen Brown, Marcus Smart or Malcolm Brogdon, although Robert Williams III will have knee surgery and is out indefinitely.

The Nets, on the prowl

The Brooklyn Nets, who continue to count on the presence of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, appear again in this group of contenders.

But, of course, they have two such unpredictable personalities that it would not be surprising if they fail again, as they have done the last two seasons.

The Milwaukee Bucks look strong

There are experts who think that the Bucks have not stopped being champions, they have just lent out their title.

We already know what Giannis Antetokounmpo can give, and how much Jrue Holiday can contribute.

What they are hoping is that Khris Middleton gets to the playoffs healthy this time, to take advantage of the panic Giannis causes in defenses every time he takes the ball.

Will the title make its way to LA?

The LA Clippers are also among the contenders for the ring. Kawhi Leonard‘s return to the court is largely why.

There is also Paul George, who shines with the wind at his back, and one of the star signings of the off-season, John Wall, who has not played for a year and is an unknown quantity, but who still has a lot of points in his hands.

Then, attention will always be placed on the LA Lakers, as LeBron James hopes to drag another team to the finals.
